Cookies and painting collide in Lancaster

A painting and snacking event is coming up in Lancaster, offering area residents and artists an opportunity to connect with their creative side in a fun environment.

The Cookies and Canvas: Led Painting Workshop will open its doors to students in a few weeks, providing an immersive learning experience for artists and creatives of all skill levels. The learning session will be hosted and taught by Donna Smith, a local artist with years of experience in the arts.

During the cozy afternoon session, attendees will enjoy snacking on cookies and sipping hot cocoa. The course will be held in person, providing all participants with the tips and face-to-face instruction necessary to grow skills and confidence. The Pickaway County Park District is organizing the class session. Flyer printing is an effective way to spread awareness of such events in the town while generating excitement with local artists.

The painting theme will be winter birds, making it an ideal experience for Lancaster residents seeking to make the most of the colder months. Friends and family are welcome to attend and add to the atmosphere. All painting supplies are included in the ticket price.

The class will be held at the Pickaway County Park District office on Saturday, January 11th, from 10:30 AM until 1:30 PM. General admission tickets cost $40 and are available online.
