Boardman’s once sad looking Huntington Wood Mall has been almost completely transformed into its new persona – Huntington Place.
The redevelopment of Huntington Wood Mall is almost finished and one of its early tenants, Branch Street Coffee Roasters, moved in on August 3. More tenants for what will be known as Huntington Place will be moved in this fall, nearly filling all the available space.
The redevelopment project that has been ongoing for almost three years provided nearly 100 constructions in the process.
H. DiRienzo Properites has been handling the four million dollar renovations and its architect, Henry DiRienzo, designed a façade guaranteed to grab the attention of passing motorists. DiRienzo purchased the rundown property two and a half years ago and has nearly seen the project to fruition.
Developer DiRienzo has lined up three tenants who will open in November of 2015 and be in the market for the services of a business card printing service. They are Hot Head Burritos, Mariner Finance, and Suzie’s Dogs & Drafts. They will join the recently opened Branch Street Coffee Roasters, along with Aries Hair Salon, which opened in February 2015, and Pure Barre, which opened the previous month.
In a couple of months, the nearly 40,000 cars that pass the newly spruced up site will notice another change as the old Huntington Woods Mall is removed and the Huntington Place sign is put in place and lit up.
