Boardman has always taken a great deal of pride in its senior citizens. This is why the third Thursday of each month is being set aside for the rest of this year to celebrate their contributions, and to provide a host of ways for them to enjoy a day out.
Senior Fun Day will be returning to Boardman in November, and this event is a great way for seniors to connect with one another. There are also plenty of on-site attractions that visitors can enjoy. Bingo, a dedicated guest speaker, a free lunch, and a short exercise program guided by an expert are some examples of what is in store.
As community-oriented gatherings such as this often cater to a limited audience, targeted advertising methods such as partnering with local Print shops to distribute Flyers are popular strategies. Posters and word of mouth are additional possibilities.
Note that Senior Fun Day will not be offered during January and February, so those who wish to participate are encouraged to obtain tickets in advance. Furthermore, seating is limited to 80 people.
Boardman Senior Fun Day is being held at Boardman Park located at 375 Boardman-Poland Road on November 20th between 10:30 AM and 1 PM.
