Boardman residents are familiar with many local traditions, and the upcoming Oktoberfest is once again expected to attract a considerable crowd.
Boardman will soon be celebrating its 50th Rotary Oktoberfest. Organizers have announced a number of events, and similar to previous years, this event is open to everyone.
This festival is one of the largest of its kind throughout the region, and plenty of family-friendly activities await. For example, 150 retail vendors will be selling their latest products. These items will likely include clothing, housewares, personal products, seasonal decor, handmade goods, and jewelry.
In addition to retail kiosks, this year's event offers many other attractions. An on-site food court will provide refreshments and allow visitors to sample products from nearby restaurants. Some participants include Aladdin's Eatery, Aqua Pazzo Modern Italian Restaurant, and Zenobia Middle Eastern Cuisine.
Annual events that tend to draw large crowds will always keep the community informed. Some well-known advertising tactics include banner printing, creating Posters that can also be used as keepsakes, and working with volunteers who hand out Flyers.
The 50th annual Boardman Rotary Oktoberfest is being celebrated on Sunday, October 4th. Doors open at 9 AM, and the event is set to conclude at 5 PM. All activities will be hosted within Boardman Township Park located at 375 Boardman-Poland Road.
