Independence Day is just around the corner, and similar to many other communities throughout Ohio, Boardman has already begun preparing a massive event. This festival is open to all residents, and plenty of activities await.
Similar to previous years, organizers of the 2026 Fourth of July Celebration expect a large turnout. They have also provided a brief itinerary outlining some of the main activities. These include a parade stretching from Downtown Boardman and the marina, onsite vendors selling a variety of goods, refreshment kiosks, and live music. There will also be specific attractions associated with the nearby marina, although these have yet to be announced.
After the live music concludes in the late afternoon, participants will be treated to a professional fireworks display. Many consider the Fourth of July fireworks to be the main attraction of this annual Boardman celebration.

The 2026 Boardman Fourth of July Celebration is being held on Saturday, July 4th. Vendors are asked to arrive at 8:00 AM, the parade will begin at 12:00 noon, and fireworks will commence once the sun goes down. The parade route will run between Downtown Boardman and the marina located at Marine Drive West. This event is free to attend.
