The Music in the Park festival has returned to Boardman this summer. This event kicked off on June 12th, and it will continue throughout the month of August. Those who may not be able to attend during the month of July are encouraged to clear their August itineraries.
Several guests will be headlining the August lineup. These include The Berry's, and the 12th Street Band. Additional unique performances such as Dueling Pianos, and an evening devoted to vinyl hits should likewise attract a diverse audience.
Note that this is an open-air festival. Visitors are encouraged to arrive with items such as blankets and lounge chairs. In the event of inclement weather, the event may be either postponed or cancelled, so monitoring weather forecasts is recommended.
The Mahoning County Convention and Visitors Bureau often uses various methods to promote Music in the Park. Common examples include flyer printing, social media updates, and event schedules that can be downloaded at no charge.
Similar to previous concerts, this year's festival is free to attend. Music normally commences at 6:30 PM, so it is wise to arrive at least 30 minutes in advance.
The Music in the Park festival is being held at the MAAG Outdoor Theatre located at 375 Boardman-Poland Rd. Additional information can be obtained by calling 1 (330)-726-8107, or by visiting the website.
