Oktoberfest returns to Boardman

Boardman boasts a strong tradition of celebrating the local community, and residents are once again preparing for what this year's Oktoberfest will have in store.

The Boardman Oktoberfest is now in its 49th year, and it has been celebrated since as far back as 1976. Guests will be able to access a kaleidoscope of different activities this autumn. Examples include arts and crafts, sampling foods provided by local vendors, and the ability to purchase seasonal wares.

Hosted by the Boardman Rotary Club, Oktoberfest represents a massive opportunity to raise funds for the local community. The proceeds will be allocated to various organizations, such as The Boardman Rotary Scholarship Program, The Boy Scouts of America, Project MKC, and Easter Seals.

As events such as this often cater to a decidedly local crowd, targeted marketing techniques will be employed. Banner printing, brochure distribution, and Flyers placed throughout retail outlets are some common examples that have been used in the past.

Oktoberfest 2025 is being held on Sunday, September 28th. Festivities commence at 9 AM, and conclude at 5 PM. It will be hosted at Boardman Township Park, 357 Boardman-Poland Road 44512. Tickets cost $5 dollars, and children under 12 can enter for free. Note that vendor applications are currently being accepted. These can be obtained by contacting the Boardman Rotary Club.
