Boardman Panera Bread opening in new location soon
Panera Bread’s new, larger bakery-café location will open around the middle of September, according to a company representative.
Just east of its former location at the Shops at Boardman Park, the new Boardman Panera will be at 7121 South Avenue near Ashley Furniture and Giant Eagle. Covelli Enterprises, headquartered in Warren, opened that earlier Panera in 1998, which was the first one for the company, as well as the first Panera in the Mahoning Valley.
The grand opening for the new location is scheduled for September 17, just about three weeks following the closing of the old café. Sam Covelli, Covelli Enterprises’ owner and operator, was quote by the Business Journal Daily as saying:
Often, when a new eatery opens or moves from another location, a flyer printing services will be consulted concerning the best way to attract the attention of a potential lunchtime clientele.
The new location is 4,900 square-feet, which is around 1,000 square-feet bigger than its predecessor. The Boardman Panera location will sport a drive-thru window, along with some up-to-date features such as offering delivery within an eight-minute designated delivery radius and kiosk ordering with rapid pick-up.
