Young Syosset writer gives reading of latest book
A Syosset author is poised to publish her fourth novel this month, and will be giving a reading of the book on at the Book Revue in nearby Huntington later this week.
Wolff, aged just 26, wrote her first novel as part of National Novel Writing Month. The event takes place every November and during it, countless writers across the country commit to writing at least 50,000 words. Wolff participated for the first time when she was 16, and has written a novel every year since then.
Although she has been writing for more than a decade, she did not make the decision to publish until she was 21-years-old. So far, all of her books have been self-published.
Wolff’s time to write novels has been limited by 26 surgeries performed over the course of her life as a result of a rare condition she suffers from, known as VACTERL association. Her characters tend to be young women who often have to deal with a physical disability, as well as darkness. The main character of her latest novel, which is called ‘Three Little Lies’, is a troubled adolescent who discovers a serial killer.
Wolff will read from Three Little Lies at 7:00 pm this Thursday, August 14. Venues often use flyer printing to let people know about events like this.
