Tasting event to highlight new-look downtown Lindenhurst

The revitalization of downtown Lindenhurst will be celebrated next month with a charity tasting event called Wel-Come to Lindenhurst.

TRITEC Real Estate Company and The Wel, a luxury apartment complex, will host the charity event, with net proceeds going towards Long Island Cares, a food bank founded by singer-songwriter Harry Chapin. It is dedicated to serving Long Island’s food insecure populations.

The event will feature several local restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops, including Hermanas Kitchen and Cocktails, Sand City Brewing Co., Restoration Kitchen, Belfast GastroPub, and Muni's Coffee Joint. More vendors are expected to be participate. Those interested can find out more by visiting The Wel’s website or its Instagram page.

Tickets will be $25 per person and will include samples of featured dishes. Children aged eight and younger will not need a ticket. Attendees must be 21 or older to consume alcohol and must present valid identification.

The Wel-Come to Lindenhurst event is scheduled for Thursday, October 7, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. It will take place at The Wel Apartments, located at 75 East Hoffman Avenue. There will be limited parking available onsite, but plenty of municipal parking.

Community events like this can provide unique opportunities for local businesses to increase their customer base. Business card printing can be helpful in such situations to get ready for extensive networking.
