For those who miss the good old days of rock and roll, there is a concert coming up tomorrow that they will not want to miss.
The Vic Vincent Group will be taking audiences back in time to the 1950s and 1960s and presenting songs from some of the best doo-wop, rock and roll, pop, and country bands of the era. Some of the doo-wop songs include selections from the Platters and Little Anthony and the Imperials. The pop songs will be from old time greats like Louie Prima, Neil Diamond, and Frank Sinatra. The country tunes will feature the old storytelling styles of singer-songwriters like Hank Williams and Johnny Cash. Finally, the rock and roll songs will be from song of the great artists of the 1960s like Buddy Holly, Elvis, and the Beatles.
The show will be held at the West Babylon Public Library. Admission to the show is free, but those who wish to attend are required to make reservations in advance. People are allowed to reserve up to four total seats for the concert.
The Vic Vincent Group and organizers at the West Babylon Public Library may turn to Print companies to help promote this show. Both the band and the library will want a good turnout, and having Print companies create Flyers that can be handed out in West Babylon and nearby areas like West Islip or Lindenhurst could do a lot to generate an audience for the show. The library may also want additional materials from Print companies, such as Brochures or pamphlets that would inform attendees of future events being held there.
