Motown is to come back in time for the weekend, as Dr. K's Motown Revue lights up the stage at the Dix Hills Performing Arts Center (DHPAC).
The group features a lineup of 11 veteran performers; seven of them musicians and four of them vocalists. The show will feature music from groups like Martha and the Vandellas, the Supremes, and the Temptations. The audience will also be treated to some lessons and trivia about the Motown era.
The Dix Hills Performing Arts Center features a 500-seat theater with a large parking area, making it easily accessible to people who have to drive in from other towns. Organizers for this event may be in touch with printing companies to create Flyers and printed promotional material that they can use to advertise in some of these nearby towns like Melville, Islip, and Lindenhurst.
The DHPAC is known for presenting musical performances in a range of genres from popular music, to jazz, to Beatles shows. It also features many children's theatrical shows, magic performances, and stand-up comedy. Performers range from some of the most talented musicians and actors on Long Island to nationally and internationally renowned performers.
The performance begins at 7:30 pm this Friday, March 15. Ticket prices range from $20 to $35.
