Long Island bar crawl to follow the rainbow

Next month, the Massapequa Park and Lindenhurst area will follow the rainbow to find lucky libations during the St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl.

The shamrock-themed bar crawl will be hosted by LI-Kick, which is Long Island’s leading organizer of co-ed adult social sports. The organization’s mission is to provide and promote fun, social experiences for adults to build lasting friendships while also playing interesting games.

March’s event will feature five Massapequa bars all showcasing food and drink specials for bar-crawlers. The venues will also be decked out in themed decorations, and organizers encourage attendees to dress in their most outrageous and fun costumes. There will be prizes given to the participants with the most festive outfits.

Ticket wristbands will include two free drinks. The crawl will begin at Johnny McGorey's Pub and will end at Dark Horse. The remaining bars and restaurants have yet to be announced.

Sponsoring businesses of drinking events like this often advertise their involvement by hanging decorative Banners, which local Print shops specializing in banner printing can help create.

The LI-Kick St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl will take place on March 19. Johnny McGorey's Pub is located on 131 Front Street, Massapequa Park, just five miles from Lindenhurst. Advance tickets are $20 until March 13, after which they raise in price to $25. Same-day tickets are $35.
