In April, Stew Leonard's, a local diary and produce store, will hold the Easter Egg-Stravaganza at its Farmingdale location, just five miles from Lindenhurst.
Founded in 1969, Stew Leonard’s specializes in dairy products and fresh food items. Starting in its early days with just a fresh dairy selection and observable milk-bottling area, it soon expanded into produce, meat, fish, wine, cheese, and a bakery. It has also earned the nickname of the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores” by providing a county-fair atmosphere and entertaining children with costumed characters as parents shop.
The Easter egg hunt will be for children ages eight and under. The kids will be given a bag to gather treats that have been hidden around the store. Organizers caution parents that some of the eggs may have treats with peanuts in them. After the children have completed the egg hunt, they will have the opportunity to take photos with their parents and the Easter Bunny. Five children who find the five lucky eggs will win special Easter baskets as well.
Events holding giveaway activities or raffles often give out Promotional Products of sponsoring businesses to lucky attendees.
The Stew Leonard’s Easter Egg-Stravaganza is scheduled for April 5 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. The egg hunt is free to attend, and the store is located on 261 Airport Plaza Boulevard, Farmingdale.
