This May, the KiDS NEED MoRE Movie Night Series will present a showing of the Disney movie Encanto for families in Copiague, Lindenhurst, and the surrounding area to enjoy.
KiDS NEED MoRE is a non-profit organization that supports children and their families living with serious illnesses such as congenital heart defects, cancer, and other traumatic, life-threatening conditions. The organization’s mission is to enrich lives through engaging programs and services such as peer mentoring, retreats, camps, and day events. The drive-in movie series shows a different movie each month, and proceeds raised from all sales go towards supporting the organization’s mission.
Taking place at Costello's Ace Hardware & Garden Center of Copiague, the movie Encanto will be shown outside on a big screen in the style of a drive-in movie theater. There will be $1 grilled hot dogs and freshly made popcorn from Costello’s Ace Hardware. Movie-goers can also order pizza from Joe’s Pizza and get it delivered to their cars. Other entertainment includes Let’s Recap LED photo booth.
Community movie events often get advertised through visually appealing Posters, which can be created and printed by visiting local Print shops specializing in poster printing.
The Encanto showing is scheduled for May 29, beginning at 8:30 pm. Costello’s Ace Hardware is located on 705 Montauk Highway, Copiague, just 2 miles from Lindenhurst. Event entry is a donation of any amount.
