Lindenhurst yoga training to help pregnant women

Yogis and related professionals should note that The Yoga Womb will hold the Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training next month for instructors interested in working with expectant mothers.

The Yoga Womb’s prenatal yoga training is approved by A Yoga Alliance as a registered prenatal school certified to teach techniques specialized for expecting mothers. January’s course will prepare yoga teachers to teach pregnant women how to participate in safe and empowering practices to support a healthy pregnancy. The training will also provide instructors with the tools to instill in their students how to embrace their innate wisdom concerning pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood.

The style taught in the training course is a mix of vinyasa yoga and tantric practices that aims to celebrate the pregnant woman's agency and intuition while embracing her sexuality. Instructors will be taught how to guide women to explore their true selves and their connection to the circle of life.

Training sessions such as this may be advertised through Flyers in yoga studios, community centers, and universities. These Flyers can often be specially printed at local businesses that specialize in flyer printing and similar services.

The yoga training is scheduled for January 12 through January 14. It will be held at Sea Change Holistic Wellness Center, located at 131 South Smith Street. The fee for the entire course is $1,050.
