NY Cocktail Expo in collaboration with Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey will host a cocktail workshop called How to Riff Cocktails like a Pro in Lindenhurst next month.
NY Cocktail Expo produces cocktail seminars and events involving the latest trends in mixology. Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey is a brand of premium Tennessee whiskey that has won over 150 awards worldwide. Together, these two companies will host an in-person mixology workshop in Lindenhurst designed for experts and novices alike.
Taking place at one of Lindenhurst’s most prestigious cocktail bars, the seminar will go over the fundamentals of cocktail building, as taught by Instructor Garcelle Menos from Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey. The workshop will teach students cocktail formats and how to utilize them to create their own recipes. Students will also learn flavor and food pairings, the Lincoln County Process, and what distinguishes Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey from the rest.
Afterwards, students will receive access to the Industry Happy Hour at Bakuto, a cocktail bar and Japanese restaurant. There will be Uncle Nearest whiskey cocktails and food specials available.
The cocktail seminar is scheduled for November 2 from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Bakuto is located at 121 N Wellwood Avenue. Class registration is $15 and will include the Industry Happy Hour.
