Trivia buffs should note that the Super Mega Trivia Slam: Christmas Bash is happening in Lindenhurst next month and will offer a unique trivia experience.
Super Mega Trivia Slam brings a fun twist to the more traditional format of silently writing down answers to questions called. It was created by Steve Strangio, a writer and producer who has produced various interactive entertainment media.
The Lindenhurst event will be holiday themed, and participants will shout out their answers and keep their own scores instead of the host doing so. The game is designed to be half show, half competition, focusing more on having fun and less on keeping score. It will not require an app or any special materials, so participants need only to bring themselves and a healthy pair of lungs. The game will feature rounds of multiple-choice trivia questions, as well as one rapid-fire question round.
Attendees will also enjoy complimentary wine courtesy of the venue. There will also be various ways to win prizes besides just getting the highest trivia score.
