Lindenhurst to host Memorial Day parade

This month, the community in Lindenhurst, New York will be holding a Memorial Day Parade at the Breslau Cemetery.

The Lindenhurst Memorial Day Parade will be marching throughout the city later this May, starting at the Breslau Cemetery and ending at the Lindenhurst Village Hall. The Lindenhurst Memorial Day Ceremony will be held after the parade is finished at the Lindenhurst Veterans Memorial. If the weather is unfavorable, then the ceremony will be located in the Village Hall’s Public Works garage instead.

Organizations that are participating in the parade can use printing services to help create Banners and flags that show the public their names and any additional information, such as websites or social media accounts. Companies can also pass out gifts such as promotional Pens to those viewing the parade, in addition to candy and branded Apparel like visors and bracelets. Participating in the event can allow local businesses and clubs to raise their visibility in the community.

Anybody who is interested in attending the Lindenhurst Memorial Day Parade can view the event for free tomorrow, May 27, starting at 8:00 am. The parade will pass through several sections of the city, including Newark Street, Charles Street, and Hartford Street. The Lindenhurst Memorial Day Ceremony will begin at 10:00 am, and will also be free for the public to attend.
