Lindenhurst theater debuts new show for February

The Studio Theater in Lindenhurst, New York will be performing the classic play known as the Caine Mutiny Court Marshall this February.

The Caine Mutiny Court Marshall is a two-act play taken from Herman Wouk’s third published novel The Caine Mutiny. The drama was composed in 1954 and has been performed at multiple venues since its original debut. As the featured play of the month for the Studio Theater, there will be numerous performances throughout February giving ample time for those interested in attending the show to find the right date.

Recently, the Studio Theater has transitioned into a fully operational non-profit organization, preserving the historic venue in hopes of fostering the growth of performing arts. The theater has been working with actors for over 50 years and wishes to continue functioning with the help of patron donations and corporate sponsorships. There are many different donation levels for businesses to select from, with some amounts allowing the company to be included in the flyer printing for the theater’s playbill.

Admission for attending the performance will cost $27 per ticket. The theater has 125 seats available at varying distances from the stage that all cost the same amount. The Caine Mutiny Court Marshall will be performed each week, with shows on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday starting at 8:00 pm. Sunday performances will begin at 2:30 pm.
