Although many employees move on to new companies when they want to move up the ladder, a few are able to work their way up at long-time employers. This has been the case for Patti Royce-Moser, a resident of Lindenhurst.
Royse-Moser recently received a promotion to a vice president position at a local school bus transportation company. She has been with her employer for 20 years.
Educational Bus Transportation is part of the Trans Group family, which has more than 2,000 employees. It provides school transportation on Long Island, including to districts in western Suffolk County and in Nassau County.
John Corr, Jr., the president of Trans Bus Group, had many positive things to say about Royce-Moser and her role with the company. He offered his congratulations and said it had been a “privilege” to have known her over recent years.
Companies that promote from within often use newsletter printing to let other employees know of the changes and to encourage employees to congratulate their co-workers.
In her new role, Royce-Moser will be the support person, guidance counselor, and leader at Educational Bus Transportation locations across Long Island.
Over the course of her career, Royce-Moser has received of the Golden Merit Award (given out by the National School Transportation Association) and the Department of Defense's Seven Seals Award.
