In celebration of love and romance, the Moose Lodge in Lindenhurst will host a Valentine’s dance for the community should any community members be looking for a fun activity to do with their sweethearts.
The Lindenhurst Moose Lodge belongs to the fraternal order of the Moose, which was founded in 1888 by Dr. Henry Wilson as a place for men to gather socially in fellowship and community. Now, the organization welcomes all individuals who wish to join and serves the wider community by getting involved in activities that benefit civic programs and initiatives.
The Valentine’s Day dance will be themed upon country music and line dancing. There will be a line dancing class offered by local dance instructor Sandy that attendees are welcome to participate in during the event. DJ Neil will be spinning tunes all night long, and there will be drinks specials offered at the bar. Organizers encourage those coming to the dance specially to celebrate Valentine’s wear something red.
