Liam’s Heart, Inc. will hold its annual fundraiser next month at Sand City Brewing in Lindenhurst to raise money to support families with children living with Williams Syndrome and similar conditions.
Liam’s Heart, Inc. was created in honor of 10-month-old Liam, who passed away from a condition similar to William’s Syndrome. William’s Syndrome is a rare developmental disorder that can cause blood vessel problems and heart disease. Liam's parents created the organization to honor his memory and keep his spirit alive by helping other families who are going through similar experiences.
The foundation’s annual fundraiser will invite the community to come and enjoy refreshing craft beer and tasty local eats while supporting a good cause. Attendees will enjoy three hours of unlimited cider, spiked seltzer, and craft beer, as well as light hors d'oeuvres. There will also be raffle tickets for guests to purchase for chances to win fun prizes. 100% of proceeds raised will go towards supporting children with pediatric heart conditions and their families.
Local businesses will often become sponsors of events like this, donating Promotional Products to be used in raffles and similar prize giveaways.
