Jean-Pierre gave the pre-teen an official citation from the New York State Assembly to recognize and reward her success and to congratulate her on winning an international beauty pageant.
Adrianna was recently crowned International United Miss Junior Preteen. The win is a first for Adrianna. To take home the grand prize, she first had to be interviewed by judges, demonstrate involvement in community service, and perform on stage. The International United Miss Pageant awards its winners with scholarships and seeks to recognize achievements both off stage and on.
Pageant organizers can use brochure printing to outline the requirements for participation and to encourage more young women to get involved.
Adrianna has been participating in community service programs since she was just four years old. She has helped to raise money for charities including the March of Dimes, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and St. Baldrick's Foundation. She has also volunteered at events with Services for Youth and the Berkshire Farm Center.
Speaking of her meeting with Adrianna, Assemblywoman Jean-Pierre told the Lindenhurst Patch:
"It was such a pleasure meeting her and learning about all of her work and accomplishments, and I know she has a very bright future."
