Those in Lindenhurst should note that The Long Island Brewers Guild will hold Beachfest, a festival celebrating the craft brews of the Long Island area.
The event occurring in September will be the first annual Beachfest celebrating Long Island craft beers and breweries. Over 25 of the best Long Island breweries will be represented by vendors and tasting booths. The goal of the festival is to promote these local breweries and introduce people to beers they may not have known about. It will also be a chance for residents to come together and support local businesses in their community.
Attendees at the festival will enjoy unlimited samples from all the various breweries and will be able to purchase food from vendors or buy specialty products from retail booths. Live music from Lime Wired will be playing, and hosts will also have plenty of fun beach games for attendees to participate in.
