This July, The Golden Impact will hold the Golden Bucket Basketball Charity Tournament to raise money for local charities in the Lindenhurst and Massapequa area and offer a chance for young people to engage in some friendly basketball competition.
The Golden Impact is an organization and platform that exists to uplift business owners and entrepreneurs in the Long Island community. Utilizing professional development events and business growth resources, the organization helps business owners sustain their growth and reach for success. The Golden Impact’s efforts also directly impact other areas of the community, such as raising money for charities that do relevant work in the area.
The basketball tournament will invite all levels of basketball players to compete against each other to support three charities: Marie’s Food Pantry, The First Presbyterian Church of Jamaica, and the Kobe Foundation. The competition will bring awareness to issues such as healthy living, community involvement, and business development.

The basketball tournament is scheduled for July 20, beginning at 1:00 pm. It will be held at the Long Island Sports Dome, located at 5600 Old Sunrise Highway, Massapequa, just three miles from Lindenhurst.
