Long Island residents in and around West Babylon, New York will soon have the opportunity to get free appraisals on some of their old family heirlooms, or any other artifacts they might have lying around that they hope are secretly worth a fortune.
Appraiser Eddie Costello will be appearing at the West Babylon Public Library to help attendees determine the value of any items they are curious about.
Often bringing both education and entertainment to his appearances, Costello will sometimes start a show with some standup comedy, and will then go on to provide a lecture to people about the best places to get items appraised, as well as how to avoid being ripped off.
