Those who call Turnersville home and feel they have what it takes to do the job are invited to join the ranks of the firefighters of Gloucester Township.
The organization recently put out a call to the local area seeking new members, and its companies in Chews Landing, Blenheim, Glendora, and Erial all have positions that need to be filled. Both emergency and non-emergency roles are available, and all help will be appreciated.
Those who are 18 years of age can sign up to become a volunteer firefighter, and the training needed for the tasks these first responders will need to perform will be provided. Junior firefighting and associate members positions are also on offer, and it noted that this current recruitment drive is part of a campaign to ensure that there are adequate personnel on hand to help keep the community safe.
One way a city or town’s public service providers can raise awareness of a recruitment campaign like this is by hosting open houses or other live events. Promotional Products such as stickers, note pads, magnets, and pencils can all be prepared for the occasion by area printers.
Gloucester Township Fire Companies explained that it is currently seeking new members, and its website will have the most recent updates about its efforts. It also includes an application for anyone who might be interested in getting involved.
