Turnersville hosts car show for cat rescue

Head Start Animal Rescue, a nonprofit organization, will host its first annual ‘Cool Cats and Cool Cars’ car show in Turnersville this July.

The purpose of the event is to raise funds for the organization, which is dedicated to cat rescue, particularly supporting cats in Camden, Philadelphia, and surrounding areas.

The event will also feature a DJ performance by Frank Staff, along with auction prizes and a 50/50 draw. Guests will have the opportunity to attend a meet-and-greet with adoptable cats, and same-day adoptions will be available. The meet-and-greet is sponsored by Head Start Animal Rescue.

Attendees are being encouraged to bring cat food and litter, as these are the most needed donations. Merchandise and custom items will also be on sale. The event will include trophies and printed T-Shirts. Poster and banner printing at local Print shops is common for such events.

The registration fee is $20, with registration open from 8 am to 10 am on the day of the event. The event is hosted by Dan Murphy from Hot Rod Garage. More information is available on the Head Start Animal Rescue’s official website.

The car show will be held on Saturday, July 12, with a rain date of July 19. The venue is Nifty Fifty at 4670 NJ-42, and the event runs from 10 am to 2 pm.
