This December, Washington Lake Park will be transformed into a brightly lit winter wonderland, and it will mark the start of Washington Township’s winter holiday celebration.
The venue will once again welcome the public to its Tree Lighting ceremony, which will be an experience planned with all ages in mind. It will also incorporate the Township’s Winter Village, which will feature a lively vendor market, and Turnersville residents are encouraged to include it in their shopping plans.
The organizers of the celebration have issued a call to area small businesses that would like to set up shop. The spaces will be assigned first come, first served, and the booking fee is $60. They will all be located indoors, and as attendees will be treated to cookies, hot chocolate, and photos with Santa, it is anticipated that it will attract a large crowd.
A pop-up market may present a valuable sales opportunity to local small businesses, allowing them to meet the public and build their customer base. Those that take advantage can order Promotional Products, order Forms, sales sheets, and other printed materials from area Stationery printers.
This Turnersville area celebration will get the holiday season off with an evening of fun on Friday, December 5. It will run from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm. A rain date of December 7 has been set in case of unfavorable weather.
