Ranging from delicate hybrid teas to the hardy explorer series, roses are one of the most popular garden flowers, and a Turnersville area event will be putting these well-loved blossoms front and center.
Camden County Certified Gardeners and Camden County recently released the news that a special event is on the way to the area. It will be a make-and-take activity on offer at 508 Lakeland Road.
Attendees at the class will be introduced to the art and science of growing roses, and everyone will go home with their own teacup rose arrangement. The presentation may cover topics such as planting, feeding, pest control, and pruning, and it is open to those age 12 and up. Minors need to be accompanied by an adult, and tickets start at $10. The session will run for an hour and a half.
Gardeners are often on the lookout for helpful tips and advice, and they may really appreciate the chance to learn something new. Information sheets that include photos and other color graphic design elements can be prepared for this type of session by area Print shops.
