A Turnersville area fundraiser will help to lighten the load of veterans experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Local vets and first responders will be the beneficiaries of a golf outing. An initiative of Project Refit. It will be the second year the event has taken place, and Wedgewood Country Club will be hosting the occasion.
This activity, which will take place just in time for the Memorial Day weekend, will give golfers a good reason to hit the links for an afternoon in the sun. A buffet will be included in the ticket price, and those who would prefer to just enjoy the meal without the golf will have the option to do so.
In an effort to make the function success, the organizers are seeking sponsorships from the local business community. They can choose from various levels, with these starting at Group Hole sponsor and going up to Main Sponsor Exclusive for those that would like to go the extra mile. The Logo Design of the supporters will be added to the marketing materials for the occasion, and more details about this can be found on the fundraiser’s website.
This chance for the community to lend a hand up to vets and first responders will take place on Thursday, May 27. Tee off time will be 1:00 pm.
