Turnersville runners are invited to be among a group of intrepid individuals who will be braving the cold during a local event.
Whether they wish to get involved on their own or as part of a group, everyone is welcome to be a part of the 8th annual Chili Run, and to thank everyone for participating, there will be a special reward waiting for them at the finish line. Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and the staging area of the activity will be located at 692 Lambs Road in Pitman.
Everyone who registers for the event will receive a variety of Corporate Gifts to thank them for coming out. These include a pair of tech socks that boast a unique graphic design, as well as a steaming bowl of chili and a beer. A vegetarian option will be available for anyone who requests it, and there is other swag available for purchase as well.
The route the runners will follow is two miles long, and the participants will set out starting at 10:00 am. The monies raised through the registration fees will be passed along to a variety of charities in the community.
This chance to add some heat to a cold winter’s day has been scheduled for January 31, and the registration system is now open. A discount is on offer for anyone who Signs up before January 28.
