An event near Turnersville will give everyone an opportunity to have fun and build their holiday spirit.
The Blackwood Fire Company will be hosting its yearly Christmas Parade, which will include lots of floats, music, and other brightly lit and decorated entries. It will proceed down the Black Horse Pike and wind up at the Gloucester Premium Outlets, with Santa waiting to meet the crowd there. There will be free Starbucks hot chocolate and the Christmas Tree will be lit. A banner printing company can supply all of the decorations needed to make an event like this even more of a success.
The theme for the parade will be ‘United We Stand’, and all of the entries will use that as a guide in their design. An assortment of categories has been set up, such as best decorated fire engine, best decorated ambulance, best performing high school band, and best overall in the parade. The task of judging the participants will performed by the NJ State Fire Chief’s Judging Association, and cash awards and trophies will be given to the winners.
People who come to the parade are asked to bring along an unwrapped new toy to contribute to the Children’s hospital of Philadelphia toy drive.
