Those who enjoy spending some time out on the links are invited to enjoy a day on a Turnersville course to help local schools.
The Washington Township Education Foundation has begun planning its 20th annual golf day. The event will take place no matter what the weather, at Wedgewood Country Club in Turnersville.
There will be morning registration and a lunch, followed by a 1:00 pm shotgun start for the outing, which will take place using a scramble format. A Print company can design and print golf-style shirts, hats, and more for those who participate in this type of function.
After the golf is over, there will be a dinner and an awards ceremony with prize draws and other giveaways. There will also be a cash bar. Funds raised during the day will go towards helping public schools in Washington Township.
Registration for the event is $125 per individual, and there are also corporate foursomes and sponsorship opportunities. Those who want to help but do not enjoy golf are still welcome to attend the dinner and evening’s activities. Tickets for this portion of the function alone are $45 and can also be purchased by making a tax deductible donation.
