Turnersville fitness center extends a helping paw for the holidays

Future Fitness Center of Turnersville will be offering support to a local animal shelter this holiday season.

It was announced that the center will be helping to support the Camden Animal Shelter and Adoption Center through the Paws for a Cause fundraising drive. A tree will be installed in the lobby, which will be hung with a variety of gift tags that people can choose. Each of them will have a suggestion of an item the shelter can use the most to help the animals they care for. A Stationery printing company can design and Print these tags.

The gifts requested range from both cat and dog food to dog toys, dog biscuits and treats, cat litter, cleaning supplies, office supplies, blankets, pet carriers, towels, and even gift cards. All will be put to good use.

The Camden Animal Shelter opened its doors in 1997 with a mandate to do what it could to lower the number of unwanted animals in the county. It provides shelter for abandoned, strayed and surrendered pets, provides spay and neutering services, and also finds homes for the animals in its care. It holds a variety of fundraising events throughout the year to help make sure it has the funding it needs to both look after the animals and administer its programs.
