Turnersville seafarers who are gearing up for another season out on the water are reminded to make sure they take part in a course that will help them do it safely.
The NJ Boat Safety Certification Course in early April will be taught by a qualified instructor, and it has been designed to be both educational and fun. Those who successfully complete the class will receive a NJ Boating Safety certificate, and both personal size and larger motorized watercraft will be included.
A boating safety certificate is mandatory in New Jersey, and this course meets all of the state’s requirements. The registration fee is $100 each, which includes the instruction as well as a proctored exam. Temporary safety certificates will be provided, and these will be replaced by lifetime Boating Safety Certificates that have been issued by the NJ State Police Marine Services Division.
Courses and other educational sessions can help those who enjoy a particular hobby to take part in it safely. Training manuals, handouts, certificates of completion, and other custom materials for an activity can be crafted by Stationery printers that offer comb and other binding options.
The Washington Township Ambulance Assoc Hall will be the venue for this short course, which is scheduled for Sunday, April 6. It will run from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm.
