Fall is here, and an arrangement that combines one of the season's top plant picks with a colorful pumpkin will be the project of the evening for a Turnersville area DIY event.
Succulents are generally easy to care for, and with their softly colored, fleshy leaves, they can be an ideal match for a bright orange pumpkin. These will form the basis for a hands-on crafting evening set to be hosted by Berlin Brewing Co., and instruction for the activity will be supplied by The Pop-up Greenhouse.
Tickets for the session are $35, and this includes a small sized pumpkin as well as a selection of succulent cuttings. Embellishments, including moss, will also be provided, and the participants will be led, step by step, through the process of creating their arrangement. While they work, they can enjoy a flight or pour of beer or another beverage, and the first of these will be covered in their registration fee.
To help make the occasion even more fun, the organizers will be hosting a session of Beer Bingo, and some of the guests will be going home with a special plant prize. Making sure the guests all have a care sheet with tips for looking after their new succulent garden can help it last, and Stationery printers can supply them.
This crafty evening is scheduled to take place on November 2. It will be offered at 220 South White Horse Pike in Berlin.
