The Turnersville area is about to be treated to a taste of the tropics, and the celebration will welcome one and all next month.
The food and culture of the Caribbean islands will be the focus of the South Jersey Caribbean Festival, which will be held in Wiggins Park in Camden. Admission will be free of charge for what will be its 23rd year.
The festivities will be filled with food, music, and other fun, and it will run for six hours. In previous years, it has attracted a crowd from the local area as well as the rest of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Along with the eats and entertainment, the function will have a kids’ zone, health screenings, and free giveaways of Promotional Products and other swag.
As is the case with many not-for-profit events, the organizers of the South Jersey Caribbean Festival are counting on the support of the local business community. There are sponsorship opportunities as well as the chance to donate Corporate Gifts in kind, and all assistance will be appreciated. The contact email for the event planners is Sjcaribbean@gmail.com.
The South Jersey Caribbean Festival will bring the fun to the Turnersville area on Saturday, July 13. The festivities will get started at 2:00 pm, and the organizers can be reached by phone at 856-580-0178.
