Turnersville area residents who would like to take the final step in their spring cleaning projects have been offered an opportunity to see paperwork they no longer need be disposed of safely and securely.
The Washington Township municipal Building’s parking lot will the location for a “shred day”, and households can bring along Bags or Boxes of documents they would like to have shredded. This service is being provided by DocuVault Delaware Valley, and it will be performed by an experienced operator.
Disposing of paperwork in this way is not only secure, it is also an environmentally friendly choice. The shredded materials will be recycled, which helps to keep them out of landfills. As two trucks will be on site, the process can take place quickly, and a limit of four boxes or bags or boxes per car has been put into place.
Those who plan on taking advantage of this offer are asked to ensure that no plastic or metal, other than staples or paper clips, is included in the materials for shredding. Flyer printing can be used to create marketing materials for a community-based event such as this.
This spring shred day will be offered to the public on June 9, starting at 9:00 am. More information about the event can be obtained by visiting the Washington Township website.
