A Turnersville area attraction has planned an evening that will be full of Halloween-themed fun, and it will offer activities that can be enjoyed by any age.
The Washington Township Historic Preservation Commission will be welcoming people from all across the area at its Halloween Adventures and Ghost Tours, which will be held in James G. Atkinson Old Stone House Village. Admission is just $2 each, and it will run for three hours.
This special occasion will offer many opportunities for thrills and chills. Guests are encouraged to dress in Halloween garb they can show off during a costume parade that has been planned for the evening. They can also try their luck in the scavenger hunt, visit a fortune teller to find out what their future may hold, and take in a creepy tale by the campfire. The older folks can take part in a Haunted History tour, and there will be lots of other fun as well.
To add even more excitement to the season, the Township of Washington will be holding a ‘Spookiest House’ competition. Anyone who is interested in this opportunity to show off their decorating talents has been asked to contact the planners at 856-227-2311. Local Print shops can be called upon to supply custom items such as Banners that can be added to the décor entered in a contest like this.
This family friendly Halloween celebration will be on offer on October 22. More information about the activity has been made available on the Washington Township website.
