Turnersville area planning EMS training opportunity

Those who are new to a supervisory or management position with an EMS crew and would like to be able to hit the ground running can secure their spot now, in a training opportunity that will take place near Turnersville.

The Washington Township Ambulance and Rescue Association is offering a short course that will compress a lot of learning into a two day class series. The workshop has been held in different venues around the country, and both fire and EMS (emergency medical services) crew leaders have found it helpful.

The interactive program will be based on real world experiences, and there will be a full 16 hours of learning. The first day will be focused on developing leadership skills, and conflict resolution, communication, and pitfalls to avoid are just some of the topics to be discussed.

The next day will introduce the ethics side of the equation, and coaching, performance improvement and other leadership issues will all be discussed.

Professionals often turn to short courses, workshops, and classes when it comes to keeping their skills current. Custom designed learning materials for an activity can be prepared by area Stationery printers.

The Emergency Services Leadership Bootcamp will be giving those new to their role as supervisor a chance to develop their skill set starting on November 29th. It will take place at 4 Willow Street, Washington Township.
