This June, A mobile makerspace from the Turnersville area will be showing its pride in the local gay community by offering the public a chance to craft a special piece of jewelry by hand.
Woodbury’s MADE Mobile Artisan Makerspace will be organizing a bracelet making session, and all the materials needed will be supplied. It is open to people of any age, and a donation of 15 percent of the proceeds from the activity will be donated to Woodbury Community Pride to help meet its expenses.
The event is being hosted on a first come, first served basis, and those who take part are encouraged to socialize while they work in a collaborative atmosphere. When their bracelet is complete, each participant will be able to wear it right away to show their support and solidarity with the local LGBT community.
The ticket price for the occasion is $15 each, and while preregistration is not required, tickets must be purchased at the door. Flyer printing is one way a local printer can help an event like this be a success by promoting it to the public in the area.
