Turnersville area event planned in support of animals in need

A Turnersville area fundraiser will soon be back by popular demand, and it promises to offer an evening of fun and surprises for everyone who comes out.

Humane Animal Rescue Trapping & Transport (HARTT) will be holding its second annual Chinese Basket Auction, and its organizers noted that it is the groups signature fundraiser for the year. It includes an appetizer, dinner, and open bar, and along with all of this, a variety of prizes and auction items will be up for grabs.

Both Miller and Coors draft beer, along with at least five varieties of wine, will be available, and the menu includes a house salad, a sauté of vegetables, chicken or hot roast pork, penne al a vodka, and a dessert of chocolate mousse. While guests enjoy socializing over their meals, they can bid on auction items, and their names will be entered in the door and platinum prize draws.

The monies raised through the evening’s activities will be used by HARRT to support local animals in need, as well as their caretakers. Flyer printing can be used by the organizers of a community-based event like this to produce an assortment of marketing materials.

Villari's Lakeside Restaurant, which can be found at 2375 Sicklerville Road, will be the venue for this fundraiser. It will be held on April 8, and more details can be found on the HARTT Facebook page.
