It is almost time for spring cleaning, and Turnersville residents who wish to have personal documents and other paperwork securely destroyed can come to an event where they can have them shredded free of charge.
This opportunity, which is being offered by Washington Township, is open to only to those who live within its boundaries. Up to four Boxes or Bags of materials will be accepted per vehicle, and the shredding service will be provided by DocuVault Delaware Valley.
The papers destroyed in this method will be converted into new products, as all the shreds will all be recycled. Those who plan on taking advantage of this offer are asked to ensure that their items are free of any metal or plastic, except for staples and paperclips.
In an effort to make the process as expedient as possible, there will be two trucks on site that will be performing the work. As the service is being offered only to residents of Washington Township, those who come out are asked to have the ID ready, as they will be checked. Poster printing can be used to create marketing items that let the public know when and where an event like this will be held.
This Shred Day has been planned for April 7, and it will be held in the parking lot of the Washington Township Municipal Building in Sewell. The township’s website includes more details for anyone who requires them.
