A new shop has opened in Collingswood that the owners hope will attract curio collectors from their own community and those that surround it, such as Turnersville.
Proprietors Lori Fischer and Cindy Schriber have paired up to open ‘Clutter’. If things go as planned, the shop will give them a chance to share their love of collecting interesting bits and pieces with others.
They recently held their grand opening, which gave the public an opportunity to come in and browse. They sell vintage items, some “as is”, and some that have been repurposed into new things. They range in size from small knickknacks to larger pieces of furniture, as well as Books, paintings, photography, art, dishes, Signs, bottles, and even technology like rotary phones that is rarely seen in 2015.
According to Schriber, they hope to create an atmosphere that makes their customers feel welcome, and that they can enjoy spending time browsing through items they remember form their own childhood.
The store is not limited to this one location; the objects for sale can also be found online in the pair’s Etsy shop and at the Franklin Flea, which is a Philadelphia-based market. A company that provides Logo Design services can create one for a store such as this, incorporating a “vintage” feel that fits in well with the overall style.
