Fundraiser to support Turnersville animal shelter

A local animal shelter is in need of a helping hand, and Turnersville pet parents are asked to hit the road to support the cause.

Whether they want to walk, run, or roll using an assistive device, everyone is welcome to be part of the 2020 instalment of Rascal’s Run, and Fido is invited to join in the fun as well. The proceeds will support the Animal Adoption Center in in Lindenwold, which is a no-kill facility that finds loving homes for all sorts of companion animals.

This fundraiser, which had come to be one of the shelter’s signature fundraisers, will offer a 5k run as well as a two-mile fun walk and one-mile dog walk. Once people have crossed the finish line, they can stop by the vendor fair and meet other local animal lovers, all while enjoying the music and a bite to eat.

This type of event can be fun for humans and animals, and Print shops will be able to supply everything from race bibs to a big banner for the finish line. These can be customized to suit the organizer’s beads and budget, and the staff will be able to offer helpful advice.

Rascal's Run will be giving locals a way to support a local shelter on September 19. It will be set up in Blackwood’s Timber Creek Park.
