It has been announced that a sports science exhibit will be opened in the fall, in Philadelphia’s Franklin Institute.
Reports say that the initiative will involve
an investment of over $3 million. The SportsZone exhibit will be in excess of 3,500 square feet in extent and it has been declared that it will be permanent in nature. Postcard printing in Turnersville could be used to help promote what will be the replacement for an earlier exhibit named Sports Challenge. James Maguire Junior, who is behind SportsZone as head of the Maguire Foundation, has suggested:
“It’s so important to give people the resources they need to make informed decisions and the Franklin Institute can do that in a fun and engaging way.”
It has also been reported that other corporate supporters of the exhibit include the Dow Chemical Co. and individuals with stakes in the Philadelphia Phillies. Part-owners of the baseball club, Laura and William Buck, have helped to back SportsZone.
People who want to visit SportsZone will not be charged any more on top of the standard admission fee for the museum. Tourists and locals will be able to make their way to the exhibition at the third level of the building. The renovation of the area under discussion should be completed before the big opening in the last few days of October.
