Police in the Township of Washington will be running the Police Explorer’s program for another year, and young people from Turnersville are welcome to take part.
The initiative teaches youth about law enforcement through giving them a combination of classroom work and hands on experience. The group meets twice each month, and participants learn everything from physical fitness and healthy lifestyles to police techniques, radio and communications use, tactical training and more. Depending on the situation, they may also take part in honor guards, search and rescue efforts, emergency first aid training and patrol ride along with members of the police department.
Along with all of this, the young people who are involved take part in the yearly National Explorers Competition. Presentation Folders for events such as this can be created to the exact specifications of each customer by a printer. These can be used to hold Brochures, handouts and other materials.
September 19th has been set as the open enrollment end date for both new and current explorers alike. Once that date has passed, registrations will no longer be accepted for this calendar year.
