Call put out to Turnersville teachers

Turnersville teachers and other educators from the local area will soon be coming together in an event that will explore a variety of topics that may be of interest to them.

During the Edcamp, which provides professional development that is educator driven, will see the participants determine, through a collaborative process, what subjects will be addressed. The organizers noted that it is all about conversations between the attendees and not just listening to a presentation. The goal is for it to be of value to everyone who is present, and if any feels it is not useful to them they are free to leave while still being more than welcome to attend another session.

During the workshop, there will be opportunities for the teachers and other educators to share best practices and other tips, and since it is participant driven, it will be uniquely tailored to their particular needs. Promotional Brochures can be prepared for an event like this to let teachers know when and where it will take place, and how it can benefit them.

The session is being planned by EdcampGlotown Team, and all educators from the local area are invited to attend. The is no cost to participate, and anyone who would like to do so can register their interest through the event’s listing. It will be held on October 21 in Sicklerville’s Union Valley Elementary School.
